Helvētiī hoc cōnsilium cognōvērunt. itaque Orgetorīgem in vincula coniēcērunt et ad iūdicium vocāvērunt: "causam tuam dīc!" sī Helvētiī eum damnābunt, eum ignī cremābunt.

eō diē Orgetorīx omnem familiam suam ad iūdicium vocāvit, decem mīlia hominum. omnēs quoque clientēs suōs et omnēs quī eī pecūniam dēbēbant eōdem dūxit. per eōs effūgit et causam nōn dīxit.

Helvētiī īrātī erant. arma cēpērunt et iūs suum exsequī cōnābantur. magistrātūs quoque multitūdinem hominum ex agrīs cōgēbant.

tum Orgetorīx mortuus est. Helvētiī putant: "Orgetorīx ipse sē interfēcit."
